Danish Language Teacher

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Danish Language Teacher to provide online customized lessons to our client.

Job Information:

• Ref. # 193411: Online Danish lessons for a female adult who's just relocated to Copenhagen

• Availability: Tuesday and Thursday mornings (between 8am and 12pm)
• Student's location/time zone: Denmark (CET)
• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week

• Lesson Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes) per session

• Current target language level: Complete beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: Polish, German (B1), Turkish (A2)

• Student's language needs and goals: Daily communication - shopping, communicating at school, asking for directions, and better understanding the local culture. Lessons can focus on:
  - Conversations with native speakers
  - How to be polite in Denmark
  - Parenting in Denmark
  - Holiday celebrations
  - How schools work in Denmark
  - Ordering at restaurants
  - Going to the doctor
  - Popular hobbies or interests in Denmark
  - A guide to shopping
  - How to learn a language faster
  - Using public transportation
  - Cooking traditional food

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
