Job Description - Information Security Specialist, Risk Management & Security

We are looking for a skilled Information Security Specialist with a flair for systemic thinking and with experience in Information Security frameworks, who is ready to take on the responsibility to work independently with strategic and tactical tasks, as well as supporting the collected Security team. You will be working in an international, high-tech company, operating within a specialized and unique domain, which demands best-in-class security and quick responses.

Job description:
In this position, you will be part of a competent and specialized security team covering all aspects of security within the domains of physical-, personnel- and information security, which requires a holistic approach in case handling. With reference to the VP of Risk Management & Security, your primary tasks will be to handle projects and daily Information Security tasks including local ad hoc support to the specialists within the other security domains. Your focus on Information Security will cover all information assets whether this is strategic and tactical cybersecurity, document security, counter-social-engineering, awareness training or other aspects related to information security.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Cyber Security Governance
  • Situational- and Threat Assessments
  • Risk Analyses and -Assessments
  • Compliance work
  • Incident Management
  • Auditing
  • Cyber Awareness Program including instructions and training
  • Support of Operational Document Security.

Your tasks will span from the operational to the strategic level and you will be interacting with a wide number of stakeholders and be responsible for coordinating actions and initiatives across the entire organization.

How to succeed in this position?
For this position, we expect that you are experienced with Information Security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-171 or Cyber Essentials) from a corporate level and that you possess a strong understanding of how different elements of Information Security are interlinked.

As you will be working in a regulated domain, it is also important that you understand the political aspects related to Information Security. The ideal candidate also has a flair for working with Physical- and Personnel Security. Should you already be trained in the areas of FKOBST 358-1 (Provision of Danish Military Security regulations), this will be an advantage, but not a requirement, as we will always make sure that you participate in trainings required for you to perform best possible in the role.
Our corporate language is English, so we expect that your English skills are at a high level. Moreover, we expect that your Danish skills are also at a high level.

You will be working out of either Søborg or Lystrup. Some travelling (primarily in Denmark) is to be expected.

Bear in mind that candidates for this position must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.
