Fohntech Group is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to join our team in Denmark.
A rotation plan is provided for candidate's who would like to pursue this opportunity but are not currently based in Denmark.
As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be pivotal to overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. You will review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects.

Responsibilities:
- Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor. This will include attending weekly safety meetings and distribution of information from those meeting to the site team.
- Holding daily/weekly toolbox talks
- Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager.
- Provide input to and the management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements
- Manage the on site coordination of activities with other trades
- Management of all day to day on site operations
- Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with sub-contractor.
- Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
- Attendance on System Walkdowns, both internal and Client
- Management and close out of all punch items
- Ensure correct revision drawings are being used for the completion of construction activities
- Ensure RLMU’s are provided for all completed works
- Implement a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with other trades.
- Issue internal weekly progress report.
- Schedule & Track material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule.
Requirements:
- Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Previous experience in the Pharma sector
- Excellent communication and organisation skills required
