Two Student Assistants for People & Culture

GN is on the lookout for two self-driven Student Assistants to join People & Culture, focusing on either Talent & Leadership Development or Talent Attraction (Recruitment). As a Student Assistant within Talent & Leadership Development, you will:

  • Contribute to GN’s development programs, supporting the growth and learning of GN's talent pipeline.
  • Assist in managing DEI initiatives, contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Share best practices and insights to enhance talent development processes and programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Handle ad-hoc inquiries and support various tasks within the talent & leadership development team, ensuring smooth operations and effective development planning.

Key skills required to succeed in this role are basic knowledge of talent & leadership development, DEI, and people and culture, as well as well-developed communication and project management skills.

As a Student Assistant within Talent Attraction, you will:

  • Facilitate student recruitments by writing and posting job ads, attracting the next generation of GN talent.
  • Update recruitment process templates, ensuring efficient and high-quality recruitment processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers for lower-level positions, helping to align their recruitment strategies with specific needs and challenging decisions to ensure best fit.
  • Handle ad-hoc inquiries and support various tasks within the recruitment team, contributing to the overall recruitment efforts.

To succeed in this role, experience within the field of recruitment is needed. Moreover, you will need a structured and self-driven mindset as you are expected to execute with precision.

Common for both roles, we expect that you:

  • Are passionate about HR / People & Culture.
  • Possibly study an MA program in HRM, Culture, Communications, Project management, Administration, or another related field with at least 12 months remaining in your studies.
  • May have some HR experience from a previous role.
  • Possess a structured approach, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
  • Are proficient in MS Office and have good communication skills in English.
  • Can handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Are a quick learner with a hands-on approach.
