Senior Project Manager

Job-Link is looking for a Senior Project Manager.

As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for coordination of the mechanical engineering packages for a number of medium to high complexity projects, as well as to keep and develop our mechanical engineering discipline know-how on a high level.

You will be involved in the execution of a big project from the quoting through to order until final delivery and be responsible for the mechanical part of the project. You will also manage and coordinate a team.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordination of the mechanical engineering package

• In cooperation with the team and discipline engineers organize and execute the project.
• Construct and develop engineered solutions for the projects.
• Communication with purchase/suppliers on technical matters.
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Support the design team in creating and developing P&ID’s, layout drawings etc.
• Refine our technical solutions to the benefit of our customers, while maintaining focus on standardization.
• Responsible for coordinating engineering work with colleagues in the company and on site.
• Be a role model in following our project workflow and other tools and procedures in the process.
• Set the good example and drive internal development of processes and tools together with the project team and management.

You have a background as Mechanical Engineer or similar. Preferably, you have minimum 5-10 years of experience from the Pharma, Food, Oil & Gas, Biotech etc. and biotech industries, working with process equipment design and installation.

Your qualifications include as many of the following competence areas as possible:

• Knowledge of production and processes.
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is beneficial.
• Project execution basic design, detailed design and construction.
• Tank & Vessel design and calculations.
• Purchase and supplier contact.
• Tender process and contract management.
• Installation and test.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
