To achieve our objective, we are currently looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can lead the way for how we connect with customers in DFDS. The position is part of the Core Transformation & Integrations (CT&I) Tribe, in the Technology and Innovation (T&I) Division of DFDS. Here, you will get a direct, transparent, and empowering manager who welcomes challenges and encourages continued learning.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding integration best practices
• Establish the long-term strategy on the technology, approach and setup needed to seamlessly integrate to customers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
• Oversee the testing and validation of integration projects to ensure quality and reliability
• Develop and maintain documentation related to integration processes, standards, and governance
• Mobilise, participate in, or lead selected strategic IT projects
• Do mapping of technical requirements into project deliverables
• Establish governance and transparency between DFDS business and IT
• Support our Tribe with strategic direction setting and the digital transformation journey within business integration.
  

About you

We are looking for a new colleague who is analytical by nature and always ready to seek opportunities for improvements and who has the following skills:

• Experience from a large IT organization with strong awareness of IT Architecture, design principles and various technology domains, especially in the context of IT Integration and automation
• Proven track record of leading technical IT projects, especially with focus on defining EDI/API capabilities
• Proven experience in working with API Management or API portals
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in establishing product plans and roadmaps based on prioritization of opportunities, deep understanding of customer needs, and the organization’s ability to execute.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate has:

• A mix of high quality analytical and problem-solving skills together with the ability to effectively drive progress in a complex environment
• A global mindset, able to communicate and influence stakeholders in a multicultural environment
• Strong knowledge and experience regarding agile/waterfall ways of working, and the ability to help your team structure their work in alignment with the framework of choice
• Experience with leadership of functional teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English), including the ability to explain complex concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to technologists
• The ability to handle tight deadlines and conflicting priorities in a structured manner
• Very strong stakeholder management skills, including being proactive when handling your stakeholders.
