Job Description - Chief Consultant for Data-Related Projects and Operations Planning

The Operations & Performance Development team (O&PD) works closely with management to support the large and complex Personal & Business Customer Services (P&BC Services) organisation, comprising over a thousand staff across the Nordics and Lithuania.

The Operations & Performance Development team (O&PD) works closely with management to support the large and complex Personal & Business Customer Services (P&BC Services) organisation, comprising over a thousand staff across the Nordics and Lithuania. We handle a variety of organisational and business performance management tasks, ranging from executive reporting to data analytics and financial optimisation.

You will have the exciting opportunity to form this new role. You will have an interesting mix of project management on data-related needs in P&BC Services, explore new ways to optimise and elevate business insights through hands-on data analysis, and work within the operations management agenda through, e.g., owning, establishing, leading, and facilitating operations forecasting in the unit.

The O&PD team is a newly established team, currently consisting of four employees, three in Copenhagen, Denmark, and one in Helsinki, Finland, and three currently in the hiring process.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • Take the lead on data-related projects within P&BC Services from start to finish, collaborating closely with our team’s data analyst
  • Establish data-related initiatives by internal customer request and on your own initiative based on your insights of business needs
  • Explore data opportunities with hands-on analysis and critical thinking
  • Represent P&BC Services on data and insights needs in strategic projects, such as a new end-to-end case handling tool, ensuring that the unit’s needs are considered while contributing to forming design solutions
  • Take over a newly started project aiming to establish and professionalise operations forecasting as a process and tool, which, after established, will become an ongoing part of your role along with ownership of the framework across P&BC Services
  • Gradually expand your responsibilities into operations planning, e.g., workforce strategy and capacity planning
  • Manage an overview of data-related initiatives

About you:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in project management
  • High level of self-drive, proficient in problem solving and navigating in the unknown
  • Interest and capability to explore opportunities within data through hands-on analysis and the ability to identify patterns for optimisation
  • Previous experience in operations management or working with operations data is considered a bonus
  • Good stakeholder management experience, as you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and senior leaders across the bank
  • Advanced English language skills

We offer:

This position can be located in Denmark, Finland and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
