DTU Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship opens a two-year Postdoc position with a possibility to be extended into a tenure track assistant professor by the end of the postdoc. Special interests will be given to digitalization and entrepreneurship in a broad scope of theories and methods.
Technical University of Denmark (DTU) has over recent years cemented its position as a dedicated entrepreneurial university and continuously aims to provide the means to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students and faculties by developing their entrepreneurial capabilities to be capable of solving challenges facing our society. Therefore, DTU puts a premium on research, education, and learning in this respect by investing in a new postdoc position of a two-year contract in the field of technology entrepreneurship and digitalization. The position will be hosted at DTU Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship (DTU Entrepreneurship) at DTU Lyngby Campus.
The hosting institution will provide the best conditions to support the career development during the postdoc period and nurture the candidate towards a fast-track tenure track position, including a mentor, state-of-the-art research infrastructure, funding for conferences and presentations, pedagogic training, and international networks. Candidates for this position should expect to play an important role in research and education within the DTU Entrepreneurship.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is 2 years.

Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship (DTU Entrepreneurship)
DTU Entrepreneurship is a centre aiming to be a world-renowned centre of excellence for building the entrepreneurial and technology innovation capabilities of students, researchers and organizations. The centre currently employs approximately 35 people including eight faculty and about 15 PhD students.
Academic members of the centre publish in the top journals in entrepreneurship and innovation management and conduct research in the fields of start-up creation and success, entrepreneurial teams, entrepreneurship and health, corporate entrepreneurship, IP and technology transfer, digital business model innovations, sustainability, and entrepreneurship didactics. Digitalization, sustainability, and entrepreneurship didactics are the growing areas of interest within the group. Furthermore, researchers in the centre are characterized by a strong dedication to the implications of their research for delivering excellent entrepreneurship education.
The centre offers a suite of BSc, MSc and PhD courses specializing in entrepreneurship and innovation. The centre also hosts a two-year interdisciplinary post-graduate programme on Technology Entrepreneurship since 2020. We also take pride in supervising entrepreneurship theses and project courses for students across DTU as a means to spur entrepreneurial mindset and culture.
