Position: Seasonal Café Staff
Location: Vesterlyng Camping and Café, Ravnholtvej 3, 4591 Føllenslev, Denmark
Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (37 hours per week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Seasonal Café Assistant to join our team for the summer season, where we primarily serve pizzas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Café Staff, you will play a key role in providing a delightful café experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages according to our standards. This includes making coffee, tea, sandwiches, and other café items.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage the cash drawer.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café. This includes cleaning tables, counters, and equipment, as well as ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Stock Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. Notify the Café Manager of any shortages or required orders.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other café staff to ensure smooth operation and a positive work environment.
• Other tasks:  When time is available we might need you for other tasks in our shop, reception, outdoor activities etc.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Friendly, flexible, approachable, and customer-focused.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
