Bike Mechanic / Fleet Assistant (Donkey Republic Shepherd) - full-time, weekend shifts available
We believe that bicycles are the key to more liveable cities, the environment, and health. Today, Donkey Republic is active in more than 80 European cities with more than 20,000 bicycles, aiming to have more cyclists in cities with fewer bicycles as shared bikes can offer transport solutions to more people.

We are looking for new colleagues to support the growing bike fleet in the company's home city Copenhagen, assisting with daily operations and maintenance of the bicycles. You will become part of a growing team of bicycle enthusiasts: Donkey Shepherds.

A typical day:
You start your shift at 08:30 from our workshop in Vesterbro, where you plan your day with our digital tools, prepare the spare parts, and ride off with an electric cargo bike to repair bikes around the city. Occasionally you work at our workshop, but mostly you would work in the fresh air. With the help of our app, you will find your way, and perform the necessary tasks.

Main duties:

• Repairing bicycles and ebikes, mainly outside but also at our workshop;
• Making new bicycles roadworthy;
• Carrying out preventive bike maintenance.

What we expect:

• You have a hands-on mentality;
• Experience with repairing bicycles is highly advantageous;
• You like being outside;
• You have an eye for detail;
• You are structured;
• You like to work independently, but also enjoy working in a team;
• Good verbal English skills. No Danish requirement;
• Students are encouraged to apply, seasonal work is available.
