DevOps Engineer

About the position

You will be the primary person responsible for managing and scaling the infrastructure at Liva, with support from the rest of the development team. Your role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems, which support more than 10,000 active patients through our app and handle more than 5,000 interactions delivered by our coaches per week.

You will have the opportunity to drive innovation and incorporate new technologies to improve the deployment lifecycle and management of infrastructure.

You can be based in Copenhagen or London; however, you must possess the right to work in the geography, as we cannot support visa applications at this time.

Primary Responsibilities

Tasks will include managing infrastructure automation and ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes. You will:

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Manage and orchestrate containerised applications using Kubernetes
• Automate configuration management and application deployment with Ansible
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems

Your profile

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment in a company on a growth journey.
• You’re not afraid to take on responsibility and drive projects and deliveries.
• You have experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, and AWS.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Experience with security best practices in a cloud environment.
