The Position

As Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring efficient execution of deliveries of Novo Nordisk products to Novo Nordisk affiliates and external customers. You will work closely with our 4PL in relation to shipment planning and execution, as well as coordinate between warehouses and freight forwarders when needed. Key tasks will be order handling, coordinating shipments and generating shipping documents with the customer as your focus.

The position requires a high level of independence. The logistics coordinator must proactively solve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues.

The department constantly seeks to continuously improve performance and robustness, and the logistics coordinator is expected to contribute to this development by participating in cLEAN® and other improvement activities and/or projects.

Qualifications

• You have at least a few years of experience within this field.
• For this position, you will need to be fluent in spoken and written English, and you are an experienced user of MS Office and preferably SAP.
• You maintain excellent relations with your stakeholders and can communicate clearly and concisely across cultures and organisational levels. You are a team player and have a structured work approach.
• You are known for your positive and proactive approach. You have a strong drive, a sharp eye for details and good analytical skills as a foundation for making the right decisions.

About the department

Logistics & Distribution (L&D) is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing environmental footprint with financial impact.

We are a department of about 45 employees, divided in Shipping Operations, Validations & Transport Control and Warehouse Center of Excellence (CoE), located at Novo Nordisk HQ in Bagsværd. The open position is in Shipping Operations.
