Do you want to work on a global strategic (supply chain) project in a diverse environment with high focus on professional and personal development? Are you an executer, ready to take on process analysis and optimization? If so, you have the opportunity to join our great team in Bagsværd.

The position
We are looking for a motivated colleague to assist us in driving implementation of our different logistic projects, where we are consolidating all local planning activities from our production sites into a central planning unit in Novo Nordisk Bangalore.

Your tasks will include:

  • Drive online and on-site meetings with local planning teams supporting transfer of local planning task to our global planning team in Bangalore
  • Drive systematic problem solving via data from our systems and presentation of findings to the management team
  • Preparation and conduction of workshops, participation in project discussions around challenges and possible solutions
  • Preparation of presentations for the project steering group and other stakeholders
  • Drive related process & data analysis in SAP identifying challenges and designing new or optimising old process flows in order to stabilize and simplify the planning processes.

Qualifications
You have experience as or are currently working as a production or purchase planner, preferably in SAP APO, OMP or alike planning system. You have experience with SAP ERP and have excellent analytical skills and a natural curiosity in digging into the system data to find reasons for numbers not adding up. In addition:

  • Preferably, a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, Engineering, or years of experiences from similar positions
  • Have a natural flair for planning and coordination
  • Have an interest in process and data management via a structured and iterative approach towards stabilising execution and performance
  • Have an easy-going attitude and interest in learning new skills via a strong interest and / or background in business processes, data analysis and supply chain management
  • Have excellent skills within data analysis in excel and the ability to present and communicate your findings both visual and orally
  • Have the skills to take responsibility for complex tasks involving many different stakeholders across different business areas
  • Ability to work independently using your sound personal judgmental faculties to make wise decisions and to ask when in doubt
  • Experience with project management / coordination is advantageous but not a requirement as we will provide the necessary support to get you started

You can expect 10-20 travel days a year.

Your interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and business areas, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. You design solutions via your impactful dedication to the business but implement them with high respect for change management.

About the department
Supply Chain (SC) is a department within Product Supply that supports all Novo Nordisk A/S global production sites in supplying the best Supply Chain Processes, systems, and data to support them in a smooth execution of their daily operations. Hereunder having responsibility for identifying and executing strategic supply chain projects in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be a part of a diverse project team with 7-12 highly engaged members with different gender, age and nationality involved in a big transformation program focusing on optimizing and improving our global planning processes, data, and governance. The team is working to consolidate planning responsibilities, standardize and optimize the processes and related Master data within production and purchase. Hereby securing data quality in our SAP ERP system as the foundation for securing a smooth transition from our old SAP APO planning platform into a new planning system (OMP).
