The position
As our new QC Data Project Professional, you will enter an exciting job and get the opportunity to play a major role in the development, optimization, and rethinking our way of performing quality control on new- and existing products.
Your main tasks will be:
In this role, you could be involved in various projects and software upgrades for large analytical instruments. This will be a primary area of focus - implementing new software solutions while collaborating closely with the IT department and your colleagues in the Quality Control lab. You'll work alongside chemists and lab technicians to ensure proper qualification of the equipment during these implementation processes. Furthermore, a key responsibility will be optimizing data analysis and equipment performance, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvement across the analytical operations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you:
Previous scientific experience in areas like analytical development, method validation, quality risk management, or data analysis would be a plus. It's also beneficial if you have relevant LEAN experience from a similar role or training, along with a knack for improving work processes and reducing waste.
Furthermore, you are persistent by nature and enjoy working with short- and long-term projects, implementing new products and processes. You are structured, analytical and able to solve complex tasks.
We are open to candidates with extensive experience, as well as to more junior ones.
About the department
We are a well-functioning department, and you will join a team of 10 highly professional and motivated chemists and lab techs who support development of products and production with high quality assays. The team also handles tasks like stability tests, raw material controls, input to regulatory documentation, implementation of new analytical equipment and software, development, and validation of methods etc.
It is a laboratory with high complexity as we have many different analytical techniques.
The laboratory is moving towards more digitalisation and use of data analyses, and we are in the process of replacing our current Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solution.
