Communication Manager for Hempel Foundation

We are seeking a dedicated Communication Manager to strengthen our communication team. The Foundation has substantial communication ambitions, and you will become part of an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with strong digital abilities and a strategic mindset. The role entails a wide range of tasks, including managing social media, website development, and general communication. In short, we seek a versatile individual who thrives on challenging tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Social Media: Planning and executing social media strategies with a focus on engagement and growth. Driving and creating relevant content for various platforms and target audiences.
• Website Development and Maintenance: Developing web content and functionality in line with the Foundation's needs and brand identity. Optimizing website performance and user experience across devices.
• Annual Report: Writing content for the Foundation's annual report, which presents our work each year.
• Strategic Thinking: Contributing to the development of communication strategies and tactics. Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of communication efforts, with suggestions for adjustments as needed.
• International Focus: Collaborating with international partners and ensuring consistent communication across different cultural contexts. Experience in the sector, including the areas we work in, is a significant advantage. International experience is also highly valued.
• Brand Awareness: Working to increase awareness of our brand both nationally and internationally through various communication channels.
• Press Work: Drafting press releases and handling press inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital communication, web development, or related fields.
• Education in communication, journalism, or similar.
• Strong digital skills with experience in social media and other digital platforms.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategies into action plans under the guidance of the Head of communications.
• International experience or interest in international collaboration is a significant advantage.
• Excellent English and Danish skills are a must.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality content, including video or graphic work if possible.
• Independent and proactive work style, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment focused on good teamwork.
