Welcome to Finance Process Development
Based in Randers in the Danish Crown business unit, we are 4 colleagues working on finance process development and finance projects, which currently primarily focus on our new performance model. Our new model aims to enable transparency across the value chain, a shared language for performance, and collaboration to execute business strategy.

As a team, we must ensure the solid design and implementation of key financial concepts or processes like pricing & costing, data model for performance management and performance dialogues – all supported by state-of-the-art IT technology. Our team will be growing over the next months as we are facing several large projects in the coming years.

Develop and implement strategic projects
In this role, you will develop and implement strategic finance projects, which are to deliver the objectives in our new performance model, but also will be part of our transformation journey to becoming a global food company. This will involve everything from defining key finance concepts to implementing new processes across the Danish Crown business unit in close collaboration with our group functions in IT and Finance.

Project deliverables may vary between defining concepts within our new performance model e.g. new KPIs/accountability structures or implementing our new EPM tool and processes supporting this.
An important part of your job will be to engage and align with key business stakeholders to ensure buy-in of the new performance model.

So, as our new Finance Manager you will:

• Define, document, and implement key financial concepts and/or processes of our new performance model
• Ensure close collaboration between different project participants in our implementation projects
• Present concepts or solutions and project status to senior management
• Ensure all areas of project work are covered in terms of change management, planning, stakeholder management and facilitating workshops
• Experience with project management of finance processes
  
  

On a personal level, you are open to new ideas and enjoy working with projects at the intersection of finance, IT, and business. You are able to network within the organization, facilitate workshops, and advocate for the decisions we make, meeting your colleagues at eye level. Finally, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree within finance, e.g. a master’s in accounting, economics, or finance
• Have a solid financial toolbox and the ability to convey complex financial information convincingly
• Are a skilled Manager where finance meets IT and possess good stakeholder management skills throughout all project phases
• Have the ability to implement core financial processes, possibly in SAP FICO
• Are fluent in English
