We are looking for two analytical minds to take up the roles as (Associate) Finance Partner in Group Finance in Business Finance (HQ). Depending on candidate fit, one of the positions will be anchored in Sales Analysis & Insights and one in Group Reporting & Insights, which are neighbouring teams in Group Finance. The role offers an unparalleled insight into the entire value chain at Novo Nordisk as well as exposure to senior management. The Position
As (Associate) Finance Partner in Group Finance your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Running financial processes such as Monthly Management reporting, Quarterly Reporting towards Executive Management and Board of Directors or Group planning processes
• Providing financial analysis to senior management and creating the financial basis for strategic decision making including assignments related to supply/demand analysis
• Guiding and coordinating various levels of cross-organisational input to financial and supply forecasts incl. scenario analysis and associated resource allocation implications
• Driving continuous improvement and optimisation of the financial processes to ensure financial transparency and sound decision making
• Interacting closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gain insights into the strategic priorities of Novo Nordisk
• Translating complex financial information into easily digestible messages for senior management

Qualifications
As our ideal candidate, you hold a master’s degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar and in addition to that, you:

• Have 0-3 years of relevant working experience in e.g. financial management, business partnering or similar. University graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Have strong analytical skills, while being good at keeping an eye for the overall purpose
• Can communicate clearly and precisely with people at all levels in the organisation and you have good collaboration skills
• Have a flair for details and therefore an interest in learning and understanding the business behind the numbers
• Professional fluency in English

Depending on the seniority of the candidate we will either offer an Associate Finance Partner role or Finance Partner role.

About the department
Group Finance is responsible for the strategic financial management of Novo Nordisk, supporting key decisions of Executive Management, the CFO and the SVP of Business Finance including advanced financial, commercial and strategic analysis. Additionally, the team is responsible for driving the Corporate financial processes such as Monthly Management reporting, forecasts and Quarterly closing processes as well as delivering material for Executive Management and Board of Directors. Further, the team is overseeing financial performance management of the two commercial units – North America and International Operations.
