We are looking for a Medical Advisor to join our Global Medical Affairs team.

In this role you will be part of the Global Medical Affairs team and responsible for:

  • Building and managing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the company strategy
  • Providing medical, scientific and clinical knowledge throughout the development phases and product lifecycle
  • Supporting proactive and reactive communication with relevant internal and external customers on a global level
  • Driving medical, clinical, or scientific support and education to Sales, Marketing, R&D and others.
  • Supporting pro- and reactive customer interactions by sharing medical, scientific, and clinical insights
  • Working diligently on executing the C&MA strategy, identifying new opportunities, as well as collaborating and proactively communicating about C&MA projects
  • Ensuring that quality is in accordance with written procedures and internal standards and establish and implement procedures ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations

Additionally, you will be supporting cross-functional and/or complex projects and tasks, mainly within the Immunoassay product division for cardiac biomarkers. Your key stakeholders outside of the team will therefore be colleagues in R&D, Clinical Affairs and Marketing.

Meet your department
You will join the Global Medical Affairs team consisting of 7 colleagues (6 Medical Advisors and 1 Health Economist), reporting to the Director of Global Medical Affairs. We are a part of the Clinical & Medical Affairs (C&MA) department.

The team is responsible for:

  • Partnering cross-functionally to collect, evaluate and communicate clinical, medical and scientific information to support regulatory interactions, R&D projects and commercial projects across all business areas and across the product lifecycle
  • Build and distribute clinical, medical and scientific knowledge and expertise across all business areas
  • Leading internal and external clinical, medical and scientific discussions with key external experts
  • Set the strategic and tactical medical direction to support timely development and execution of R&D as well as commercial programs
  • Lead pre- and post-launch clinical, medical and scientific activities to ensure excellence in introductions and life-cycle management activities across the portfolio, including appropriate scientific and clinical documentation of promotional and communication materials.

Preferred qualifications
You hold an academic degree (Masters or PhD) within health sciences e.g. medicine, pharmacy or human biology. You have at least 3 years of related work experience in the industry or in clinical practice. Alternatively, you are a nurse or laboratory professional with prior clinical and/or industry experience.

Experience from the medical diagnostics industry would be considered an advantage. Some experience with cardiology (e.g heart failure) from an industry or clinical point of view will be considered a strong asset for this position.

  • Proactive, excellent in planning and possess collaborative skills
  • Have strong analytical and strategic skills.
  • Excellent communicative skills in English
  • Possess high ethical standards
  • Capable of understanding and communicating complex scientific/medical/clinical information
  • Structured and organized

For a candidate with the right qualifications and experience, a Senior position can be considered.

Our company language is English. Although the team and the position are based in Denmark, speaking Danish is not a requirement.
