Network Enterprise Architect with personnel responsibility to GlobalConnect!

Role Description:
As a Network Enterprise Architect at GlobalConnect, you will be at the forefront of our technological innovation and strategic execution. Your typical day will involve developing, implementing and updating our Technology Strategy & Vision ensuring that our network infrastructure is future-proof and in line with the latest industry standards. You will interact with key suppliers to stay ahead of technology trends and ensure our network solutions are cutting-edge.

You'll be leading a small two-man team of senior architects, guiding them through the complexities of fibre network technologies and operational strategies. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and servant leadership skills. You will be responsible for maintaining our Network Rulebook, developing new design rules, and making sure our strategic decisions are clearly communicated and understood across the organization. This will mean that you will travel regularly to build and maintain relationships with both technical and commercial teams and partners. One thing is certain and that is that many will look to you for answers & guidance.

This position is vital in ensuring that our network solutions are not only robust and reliable but also innovative and forward-thinking. You'll be a key player in implementing our technology strategy, delivering on defined milestones, and ensuring interoperability across our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and update the Technology Strategy & Vision
• Maintain and enhance the Network Rulebook (design rules).
• Engage with suppliers to stay updated on technology trends and roadmaps.
• Ensure the organization adheres to the strategic technology roadmap.
• Serve as a key advisor to the CTOO with frequent meetings, direct interactions and presentations.

To succeed we think you need:

• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate senior architects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Substantial experience as an architect within networks.
• Use to make technical roadmaps and strategies to execute on.
• Capability to obtain security clearance and an understanding of the security requirements surrounding critical infrastructure.
• Fluency in English.
