About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Active Network Infrastructure, you will be at the heart of our mission to enhance and expand our network capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the execution of customer projects for our B2B and Carrier departments. This involves creating high-level designs, providing detailed project plans, and leading a senior team across borders until the projects are successfully handed over to the Service team for maintenance. You will also be crucial in transforming our country-based teams into a cohesive pan-Nordic workforce, harmonizing processes and practices across regions.

Imagine starting your day with a team meeting, discussing the latest project milestones and challenges. You’ll coordinate with managers in Oslo and Copenhagen, ensuring smooth operations and alignment of goals. Afternoons might be spent on strategy sessions, planning for upcoming deployments, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Like the roll-out of our new ME-platform that will ensure we meet the requirements in terms of capacity, redundancy and new services, that are both fun and allow you to learn new things and see what technology can do for us.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute network infrastructure projects from high-level design to handover for maintenance, focusing on customer projects for B2B and Carrier departments.
• Lead and transform cross-border teams from a country-based to a pan-Nordic workforce, ensuring seamless integration and operation across different regions.
• Develop detailed project plans, acquire necessary materials, and oversee the staffing and execution of projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project requirements are met and aligned with company goals.
• Implement processes and routines to streamline operations and enhance network robustness.

To Succeed, We Think You Need:

• Proven experience in network infrastructure planning, deployment, and management, particularly with active network and transmission networks.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a geographically dispersed team.
• Project management capabilities with a proven history of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of IP and Optical Network technologies and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in English ; a Scandinavian language is a bonus.

We have a preference for candidates in Stockholm or Uppsala, but will be happy to consider relevant candidates living in Oslo or Copenhagen as well. This role will require travelling up to two times per month.
