Would you like to play a key part in one of the biggest and most ambitious transformations in the paints and coatings industry? Here is the opportunity to join our new Transformation Office and be pivotal for strategy execution in Hempel. This is a chance for you to join an ambitious company with a strong legacy and a strong sustainability profile. You will help ensure intensity and integrity in a range of strategic programmes and reinforce our change management capability. The stakeholder landscape is broad and you will get room to leverage your already acquired experience with project management and actively use your management consulting toolbox Make an impact through strategy executio n You will be responsible for a number of high impact programmes in the strategic portfolio, and ensure we track progress toward our strategic objectives. In addition, as member of steering committees, you will actively help steer programmes with speed and effectiveness. This role and the responsibilities within are instrumental in strengthening our project management centre of excellence, which entails ensuring that all programmes are run in alignment with the Hempel way.

You will work closely with other experienced Strategic Portfolio Managers, as well as manage stakeholders across all levels, including programme leads and the Hempel Leadership Team. The team of Strategic Portfolio Managers is all new, but curiosity, collaboration and being dynamic in our mindset is a trademark of ours. While there is a clear scope and governance in place, you will still have plenty of opportunity to leave a mark on how to best run and develop project- and programme management as well as change management in Hempel.

Main responsibilities Help making a difference in the way we drive the strategic programmes

• Participate in strategic programme steering committees
• Ensure consistent and objective-oriented progress reporting on strategic programmes
• Maintain and develop our programme progress tracking tool (for now, MS Office based)
• Play an active role in keeping companywide PMO alignment, also beyond the strategic portfolio when required

Are you motivated by change, and a re you a driven project manager with a strategic mindset ? To be successful in this role you will likely have 2+ years of experience with project management or business development, either in industry or from management consulting. You probably hold a Master's degree in engineering, business, IT or equivalent. Just as important is your ability and appetite for challenging business, technology and process related issues and solutions, to ensure that actual progress is made, and measurable business outcome secured. We encourage you to use your natural curiosity, sense of structure as well as your social skills when meeting the organisation, while being open for learnings along the way. You will be a vital part of Strategy & Transformation The transformation Office resides under Strategy & Transformation and our team being the backbone of it, we will be key for executing Hempel’s strategy. We are responsible for keeping track of the execution of the corporate strategy, 'Double Impact'. This includes making sure we as a company navigate by the right information (markets, competitors and performance), have the right governance and intervene when the initiatives are deviating from the expectedThe Strategy & Transformation team represents vast experience from related functions in industry as well as management consulting, has a low level of formality - and we are quite excited about the perspectives of welcoming new, great people to our team!
