Area Manager, Purchase

Your responsibilities as Area Manager include:
As an Area Manager, your primary responsibility will involve collaboration and negotiating with suppliers across Europe to meet the needs of our customers effectively. Key tasks include:

• Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiating favorable sourcing conditions.
• Conducting market analysis to identify new trading opportunities.
• Contributing to market development initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with Purchasers, Portfolio Managers, and Project Managers.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

• Driven, self-motivated, and adept at translating complex opportunities into tangible business outcomes.
• Willingness to act when needed.
• Strong trading skills encompassing negotiation, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
• Blend of analytical and interpersonal skills with a high level of drive.
• Proactive communication abilities vital for engaging with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Additional Expectations:

• Holds an academic degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English; proficiency in a European language is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Strong trading abilities including negotiation, portfolio management and risk assessment are all pivotal for the role.
