Assistant Bar Manager

Do you want to help drive and develop ÅBEN’s bar in Nordhavn - in the middle of “Den Røde By”, where old industrial brick buildings have been brought back to life and turned into one of the city’s newest neighbourhoods? ÅBEN is currently looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join the team.

About the Role

As Assistant Bar Manager in ÅBEN, you will be at the heart of the bar’s daily operations, spending most of your time behind the bar, serving fresh beer brewed just around the corner in Kødbyen. You will also take on administrative tasks that will help you gain valuable insights into purchasing and how the bar runs smoothly, such as onboarding new team members and working closely with the local Bar Manager.

Nordhavn is ÅBEN’s newest bar and is located in a historic part of the city, where old industrial brick buildings, local life and new energy come together. It is a place for neighbors, after-work beers, weekend visits, and guests looking for somewhere that has character and atmosphere.

About You

It is expected that you have experience from a previous service-related role and enjoy creating guest experiences that surprise and inspire. Prior experience with or knowledge of beer is not required - curiosity and willingness to learn matter much more.
