Job Description - Associate Art Director

The Associate Art Director for Radiometer is responsible for all art direction and graphic design including print, digital, and 3D, to produce all marketing communication material in Radiometer.

This position is available from August 1, 2024, to August 1, 2025.

This position is part of the Commercial Marketing team located in Brønshøj. Although the position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, ideally you would be based in the greater Copenhagen area. As the Associate Art Director, you will be a part of the Marketing Communications team and report to its Senior Manager, Sara Moulton.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and deliver campaign visual content, both print and digital, either in-house or by briefing external agencies.
  • Drive visual communication and ensure a consistent identity across all designs, by following the Radiometer CVI, style guide, and templates for the Radiometer brand.
  • Ensure delivery of visual content for fly-ins and ad hoc projects.
  • Project manage visual creation process with external agencies.
  • Develop digital elements for web, video, online, social media campaigns.
  • Update and maintain offline and digital marketing materials globally, including the Radiometer image library. 
  • Core team member in marketing campaigns, as defined in yearly marketing planning.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience with graphic design, ideally in the healthcare business of products with high technical complexity or agency experience.
  • Comprehensive and validated experience in creative direction and development of global integrated marketing campaigns using multiple channels and tactics.
  • Hands-on experience with typography, color, web design, print production, image and video editing, and package design.
  • Experience in visual design principles of how typography, logos, layout, color, images, icons, and interactive elements impact design.
  • Strong ownership, results-driven and collaboration skills – able to lead and work cross-functional stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly and concisely to stakeholders and to the management.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, AfterEffects) and other relevant design software (AI tools also welcome).
  • Microsoft office, advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Use of AI in graphic design and visual communication.
