Associate Finance Business Partner, Inbound Logistics - Viby, Denmark

Are you ready to create value and drive performance for our strategic important Logistics function in Arla Foods? Do you have the expertise to provide insightful financial advice and support to our head of Inbound and their management team? If so, you might be our new Finance Business Partner to join our Danish Logistics & Fresh Finance team in Viby, Denmark.

About the role

As a Associate Finance Business Partner, you lean in closely to the performance of the business and will:

• Act as an advisor to actively facilitate and take part in driving performance within Logistics Denmark with special focus on Inbound & Intermediate Raw Logistics.


• Act as advisor on financial and strategic issues, accountable for providing critical insights, financial analysis and business cases.


• Be responsible for the month end close and translate these into strong recommendations to further enhance the performance of the business.


• Ensure a solid quarterly forecasting and continuous development of the forecasting process, including accurate quarterly costing


• Apply an exciting balance of both strategic projects, driving change and engagement as well as more typical financial tasks such as CAPEX & Sustainability investments, make vs. buy analysis and much more

In this role you will report to the Senior Finance Manager for Denmark Logistics & Fresh Dairy Finance. You will be a part of a team with 4 other Finance Business Partners, but also heavily collaborate with our Controlling team in Gdansk, Poland and our remaining Finance Business Partners across production sites consisting of +20 finance professionals.

What will make you successful?

We are looking for a candidate who ideally has a higher degree in Economics or Finance and past experience of working as a Finance Business Partner or Controller, and therefore master to communicate financial insights and performance to translate operational clear actions and recommendations.

With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will be able to build strong relationships across the Business Partner community as well as across different sites and functions. As an analytical thinker, you will be proactive and will have a desire to learn about and improve ways of working within logistics. We expect a curious mindset that drives you to explore new possibilities and that you thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

You will be a proficient user of all Office applications and will have advanced Excel skills. Knowledge and experience of working with SAP and Business Warehouse Solutions will be of an advantage. Finally, fluent in English and a Nordic language is a requirement.
