Booking Manager at Barr

• Oversee all booking channels (online platforms, email, phone), ensuring timely and thoughtful communication

• Develop and maintain booking strategies aligned with seasonal changes, events, and operational needs

• Handle VIP bookings, large parties, and special requests with care and attention to detail

• Monitor and optimise occupancy, waitlists, and cancellations to support a balanced and efficient service

• Collaborate closely with Front of House and management to ensure smooth daily operations

• Maintain and improve reservation systems, workflows, and internal processes

• Analyse booking patterns and guest data to inform decision-making

• Ensure all guest communication reflects Barr’s tone: warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming

• Proven experience in reservations or booking management within hospitality

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

• Highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with systems

• A natural sense of hospitality and guest awareness

• Ability to stay calm, flexible, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with reservation systems
