How you will make an impact
As Business Controller within AFI Supply Chain Finance, you will play a key role in setting the direction for costing principles across Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) and in driving and owning the costing processes in a rapidly evolving production setup. You will act as a strategic finance partner, working closely with stakeholders across countries and production sites, supporting decision‑making with strong, data‑driven insights and helping ensure transparency and consistency across costing models and processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic sparring partner on costing and influence decisions through solid, data‑driven insights
- Own and drive the costing processes for AFI
- Develop and anchor KPI frameworks and reporting as factory designs and layouts evolve
- Contribute to major strategic and tactical initiatives across AFI
- Ensure alignment and coherence of processes in close collaboration with Denmark Protein
What will make you successful
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong finance background combined with the ability to navigate complex production and supply chain environments. On a personal level, you are proactive, robust and collaborative. You can move seamlessly between strategic discussions and operational details and ensure progress in a dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you likely have:
- A recognised accounting or finance qualification (ideally CIMA) or a master’s degree in finance, economics or similar (e.g. cand.merc., cand.oecon., HD)
- 6–7 years of relevant experience within Business Finance or financial management in a complex supply chain or production environment
- Strong experience driving projects and processes independently and influencing senior stakeholders
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, performance management and scenario analysis
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI and SQL is an advantage
- Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken
