Copenhagen's bravest oat enthusiast with commercial drive

If you walk past a new café and think, “I wonder who owns that place,” keep reading.

At Oatly, we’re looking for a Business Developer to join our Danish team in Copenhagen. Someone who likes people, new places, and the feeling of opening a door that was closed yesterday.

You’ll spend a big part of your time out on the streets. Not on Teams. Not in PowerPoint. Out where the coffees are made, menus are decided, and great relationships begin. Your mission is pretty simple to explain: Get more of the right cafés, restaurants, and bakeries to choose Oatly.

How you do that is a little less simple.

We know exactly which places we’d like to work with. Your job is to figure out who makes the decisions, walk through the door, start the conversation, listen, and, most importantly, follow up. Find the right reason to come back and show why Oatly can be so much more than just another carton behind the bar.

Some say yes. Some say no. Some say no three times, and yes the fourth. We want a person who will get a yes, no matter how many tries are needed.

You don’t need to follow the traditional route into sales. Maybe you come from the café, restaurant, or coffee world. Maybe you’ve already worked in a commercial role. What matters most is that you have the drive, curiosity, and courage to create your own opportunities.

You need to enjoy reaching out to people, including the ones you haven’t met yet. You need to be able to work independently without becoming a lone wolf. And you should be curious about both the customer’s business and the world they operate in.

We’re a small Danish team that works closely together, shares ideas, helps each other out, debates taste, customers, and things that probably shouldn’t be up for discussion.

We’re looking for someone who wants to get out there and find the next place before everyone else discovers it.

Sounds a little too much like you?

Cool. Then we’d love to hear from you.

Across the world people’s consumption habits and diets are evolving to be more plant-based. Enter Oatly, the #1 oat based dairy alternative producer in the world with products spanning multiple categories.

We’re determined on being part of the discussion on the long-term future of the food and beverage industry. To keep this movement going, we need more brilliant minds to come work with us to keep the momentum going and the Oatly flowing.

Sustainability, nutritional health and trust are at the heart of what we do. We are building a culture that constantly upgrades each other so we can upgrade the planet. This is a company that shows great respect and a fearless approach to make positive change. Does this feel exciting? Well, this is where you come in.
