OVERVIEW:
We are offering two exciting opportunities for two business development interested individuals to join our team as a Business Development and Sales Strategist Intern, focusing on setting up matcha tasting sessions with potential new hotel clients. This non-paid internship is perfect for someone who loves matcha, high-end hotels milieu and interested in developing sales skills with a high-end clientele. The role involves collaborating closely with the director to contribute to the company's growth and business development strategies through effective communication and relationship building.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the director to identify potential clients interested in Scandinavia/Europe.
- Utilize various channels, including LinkedIn, email, Instagram, and others, to reach out to prospects and introduce our tea products.
- Arrange and conduct virtual meetings with potential clients to discuss the benefits of hosting tea tasting sessions.
- Assist in creating customized proposals and presentations to showcase the unique value of our tea offerings to different demographics.
- Liaise with the director in 1:1 meetings to strategize and refine approaches for engaging with local clientele. This is a fantastic opportunity to get the best first-hand sales and business development training!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Genuine passion for matcha and a keen interest in the hospitality and hotel industry.
- Desire to develop sales skills and work with high-end clientele.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proactive and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with remote work and able to manage own schedule.
- Proficient in using LinkedIn, email, and other communication platforms for outreach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in order to succeed.
- Access to own computer and reliable internet connection.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Duration: 3-month part-time internship with a flexible work-from-home arrangement, requiring 15-20 hours per week with possibility of job after end period.
