Job Description - Business Process Manager Model Production & Retail

Job Description

How would like to be in a role that provides you with unique opportunity to influence decisions at all levels in the LEGO Group both around our financial processes and our system landscape aligned with Retail Services and Model Production? Together with other subject matter experts, you will participate in a wide range of various projects impacting our processes.  

'Billund based role' 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Drive processes improvement, standardisation, automation and maintenance of finance processes within the 3D Model Production and Retail areas 

  • Lead cross functional initiatives, providing hands on input to material flow (including production orders, stock transport orders) and costing related to the Model Production business 

  • Proactively consider tax & customs when working on initiatives and provide sparring to colleagues 

  • Facilitate definition of business requirements processes and root cause analysis of process related issues 

  • Drive delivery of business requirements through collaboration with business and IT stakeholders 

  • Define, test and implement new system functionalities 

  • Participate in projects and activities, requiring process and system knowledge as well as change management focus 

  • Perform process standardization, automation, documentation 

  • Drive optimization of our Direct-2-Consumer finance processes in collaboration with Service Delivery 

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with process users, Global Process Owner, IT, and other internal and external stakeholders

Business Processes & Information (BPI) is part of Business Service Operations. Our responsibilities cover global process ownership of Finance & HR processes as well as process expertise and interaction in finance, controlling as well as business & tax processes. Our mission is to develop and maintain efficient and effective standardized processes and bridge business needs with digital solutions. You will be based in either Prague, CZ or Billund, DK and join a global team of more than 70 dedicated colleagues. 

In this role, you will drive finance and tax processes improvement incl. customs and other compliance obligations within the functional area. You will facilitate business requirements  

delivery and participate in ERP transformation project requiring process and SAP system knowledge. 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Preferably university degree within Finance, Tax or any other similar education 

  • Significant experience with the FI & CO, MM and SD modules in SAP 

  • Experience with transformation projects is an advantage 

  • Experience of working with production orders, stock transport orders and costing 

  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English (both verbal and written) and ability to explain complex issues in a language a user can understand 

  • Demonstrate both an E2E mindset as well as the mindset of a deep functional specialist 

  • Experience working with global projects and change management  

  • Experience in Process documentation and performing training 

  • Demonstrated a structured continuous improvement mindset and the ability to plan and prioritize your time 

  • Experience working with Finance Shared Service Center organization is an advantage
