As a cooperative, all farmer owners of Arla have the opportunity to influence decisions. Arla’s democratic structure gives decision-making authority to the Board of Directors and to the Board of Representatives. Corporate governance in Arla is shared between the Executive Management Team, the Board of Directors, and the Board of Representatives, who together define the company’s strategic direction and ensure adherence thereof.

About the job

You will join the Cooperative Democracy & Processes (CD&P) team and support the Senior Director of CD&P in managing our democracy in close collaboration with our Board of Directors, Board of Representatives, and Executive Management Team. This includes:

• Supporting and leading key global committees in our Board of Directors and Board of Representatives


• Directly driving or supporting some of the key projects impacting our owners


• Develop the agendas and presentations for the Board of Directors, Board of Representatives and underlying committees

This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with our owners in a cooperative context directly towards our top management and Board of Directors. It will provide you ample of development opportunities as we have very broad exposure to different tasks and network across the organization. You will be reporting to Senior Director of Cooperative Democracy & Processes, Siavash Leyh Mirshahi.

Who are you

You hold a Master’s degree in business economics, finance or a similar field, ideally combined with experience from a top-tier management consulting firm or within investor relations. You are proactive, driven, and independent, with a clear edge. You excel at stakeholder management and are a strong, confident communicator.

An excellent command of PowerPoint and English is an absolute must.

• You are a good and effective communicator – and you know how to summarize otherwise complex topics in a simple manner


• You feel confident in navigating multiple priorities and can manage different stakeholders and team members
