D365 Finance Solution Architect

Today, we are advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology. In addition, we collaborate with partners around the world on the development of TransCon-based products for other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking a passionate Solution Architect to join our team. As a member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in defining, developing and supporting how we use our D365 solution, primarily within Finance but also across Ascendis to other relevant business areas. The current main challenges are supporting our commercial expansion in Europe and developing scalability in our financial processes and setup. You will be joining the Finance and Product Supply IT team consisting of 8 colleagues, and report directly to Lene Rhein Larsen, People leader who is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for a scalable architecture for financial and associated processes leveraging standard configurations and automation ensuring high data quality and usability
• Lead IT-related finance initiatives, including country rollouts and system setups in D365FO
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, IT etc.) to ensure system integrations internally and toward external partners
• Monitor and troubleshoot finance system issues (minimal disruption).
• Manage Independent Software Vendor modules for Finance such as SKG/bank fabric and Pagero/ExFlow

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a Bachelor of IT, Finance or associated field – and 5 years of experience within finance, IT and/or Pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O, preferably within pharma
• Deep understanding of finance processes e.g. GL, AP, AR, tax, reporting
• Experience with integrations and system testing
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with a diplomatic and transparent approach
• Ability to support the development of a strategy for the technological side of the product

Travel: 10 - 15 days per year.
