Local Role with Global Impact

In this role, you will be part of the Data and Analytics department at Ambu’s headquarters. Our team is uniquely international, with members from around the world, and engages with business stakeholders globally. We are on a transformative journey, establishing a new foundation of processes, ownership, and technology, with a major focus on developing a cutting-edge Data Platform in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of automating business processes through digitalization and playing a pivotal role in our strategic initiative to enhance data-driven decision-making across the company.

In a collaborative and agile environment, we value open communication and a team-oriented approach to solving complex challenges. For new team members, we look for the eagerness to learn and adapt, rather than having detailed knowledge of or experience with every technology.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Ensuring data integrity and security, complying with the latest standards in data governance.
• Collaborating with various business stakeholders globally to support data-driven decisions and innovations.
• Leveraging new technologies to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of our data systems.

Suggested Candidate Profile

Setting you up for success is one of our cornerstones. We imagine you have a robust educational background in computer science, data science, or a related field, coupled with substantial experience in data engineering. As a person, you should be proactive, keen to learn new skills, and enthusiastic about sharing your expertise.

Experience or knowledge in the following is highly relevant:

• Microsoft Azure and other cloud services
• ETL tools and processes
• Data modeling and warehousing
• Python, SQL, and other relevant data management technologies
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken, is crucial for this role.
