About your future role
We're looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join a new Nordic Data Protection Team – Nordics for an exciting role supporting Nets with data protection compliance. Organizationally, the Nordic Data Protection Team is located within Group Compliance in Ballerup, Denmark. You will be joining a new, growing team with legal backgrounds. We are responsible for supporting the business, primarily via a network of Privacy Champions, with data protection compliance tasks, as well as developing and driving data protection compliance projects and providing data protection support to other projects. As a Data Protection Specialist , you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Providing guidance and advising the business with compliance tasks
• Support the business with carrying out data mapping, risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) activities
• Handling personal data breaches and reporting data breaches
• Responding to data subject requests
• Develop and conduct training and awareness

• A master's degree in law, commercial law, or similarly relevant degrees
• At least two years experience working with data protection compliance (GDPR in particular) in multinational companies or consultancy firms
• Professionally proficient in spoken and written English
• Excellent communications skills and good at managing your stakeholders
• Service-minded with a pro-active approach 
• As this a role that may be developed over time, it is important that you are flexible and open to new tasks

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISM, or experience with ISO 27701 certifications, or similar
• Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, or Italian speaking
