DHL Supply Chain Denmark (DSC) is looking for a conscientious safety and environmental specialist to assist our SHEEQ & BCM Manager in maintaining high focus and compliance in the areas of:

• Health and Safety
• Energy and Environment
• Quality
• Business Continuity Management

As a member of the SHEEQ & BCM team you will work closely with the Facility and Operational teams to cultivate our Safety First culture, lessen our environmental impact, and update contingency plans to prepare DSC for the unexpected. The majority of your day will be assigned to maintaining our management systems. This will mean timely reporting and follow up of incidents, near misses and hazards. Updating of risk assessments and mitigations, reporting and analysing consumption figures, and conducting self-inspections.
The job is full time (37 hours a week). You will be mainly based in one of our Allerød warehouses, with travel to and from our Greve warehouse, as required. Transport between sites is calculated within work hours.
Main accountabilities:

• Proactively assist in all SHEEQ & BCM activities
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis of data.
• Ensure ongoing maintenance of the different management systems.
• Conduct self-inspections and improvement activities.
• Conduct training of new employees.
• Coordinate campaigns and activities to raise awareness.
• Prepare for audits and follow up activities.
• Guide the site operational teams on SHEEQ & BCM activities, expectations, and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a person with the following skill set:

• Experienced or educated within one or more of the following areas: Health and Safety, Energy and Environment, Quality, and/or Business Continuity Management.
• Proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Thrives with the ongoing task of timely and accurately maintaining management systems.
• Has a structured approach, good organisational skills, and keeps deadlines.
• Has a good understanding on how to perform and deliver analysis.
• Works cooperatively with others and actively offers to help colleagues.

A background in logistics and experience with ISO audits and LEAN principles is desirable. As is being fluent in Danish.
