JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Digital Design Intern at Codezo, you will gain hands-on experience in conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling visual assets across various digital platforms. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the world of digital design and allow you to contribute your innovative ideas to real projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Digital Designer Intern, you will be an integral part of our design team, learning and contributing in various ways:

• Design-Development Synergy:One of the unique aspects of this internship is that you'll learn how to think like a developer when designing. By gaining insight into the development process, your designs will not only be visually appealing but also practical to implement. This synergy between design and development will set you apart as a designer who creates designs that are both visionary and executable.
• Atomic Design: You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the world of Atomic Design, a methodology that emphasizes the creation of design systems by breaking down interfaces into their fundamental building blocks. Through this approach, you'll learn to create cohesive and scalable designs that can be easily adapted across various platforms and devices.
• Continuous Learning: We believe in the power of learning and growth. As an intern, you'll be exposed to new challenges and opportunities that will expand your skill set and knowledge.
• Collaborative Environment and mentorship: You'll work closely and directly with our Head of Design. This mentorship will provide you with valuable insights, constructive feedback, and hands-on guidance that will accelerate your growth as a Digital Designer.
• Outside-the-Box Creativity: While academic knowledge is important, we're also interested in your extracurricular creative pursuits. Whether you've contributed to personal projects, participated in design competitions, or engaged in artistic hobbies, we believe that a diverse range of creative experiences enriches your perspective as a designer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To thrive in this role, we're looking for candidates who possess:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with a strong understanding of design principles and techniques.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your creativity, design skills, and ability to think outside the box.
• A passion for design that extends beyond your studies, showcasing your drive to create and innovate independently.
• A keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are a plus:

• Experience or familiarity with Atomic Design principles and design systems.
• Previous exposure to projects that required collaboration with developers.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Please note that we do not work with CMS systems. Familiarity with CMS platforms is not required for this role.

You will not be considered for the internship, if you do not include a portfolio.
