Do you want to contribute to one of Denmark’s largest IT companies’ journey towards being ready for the new CSRD regulation? Do you have reporting, data management and compliance skills? Then you might be our new ESG and reporting officer in KMD.

About the job
As our ESG Compliance and Reporting Officer, you will lead our commitment to environmental governance, stewardship, and reporting requirements within CSRD. You will be the primary coordinator and reporting specialist regarding environmental sustainability.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of CSRD requirements in close cooperation with our external advisors
  • Prepare and manage annual CSR reporting including documentation to the auditors
  • Ensure KMD is compliant within relevant environmental regulations and standards
  • Uphold requirements from KMD’s commitment to existing frameworks such as UN Global Compact
  • Maintain and update the KMD’s website and intranet with the needed sustainability content
  • Assist Group Accounting with ongoing reconciliations, accounting memo and other compliance matters.

The role is rooted in the Finance department within Group Accounting, where we have strong focus on being compliant within several areas and focus on doing our compliance tasks most efficient e.g. by using new technologies.

You should also expect to build strong relationships with many stakeholders working with CSRD reporting such as our global owners the NEC Corporation, as well as internal stakeholders in the business and in back-office functions specially within Compliance and Facility Management.

About you
To succeed in the position, it is necessary that you have a strong understanding of corporate reporting standards, and insight in audit requirements and audit process. You have great data management skills and take an interest in keeping up to date with the environmental regulations in force.

You have project management skills enabling you to lead and drive cross-functional projects such as implementation of CSRD requirements, and great communication skills to engage with all stakeholders in that process.

You most likely have a bachelor or master degree in Sustainability or accounting and auditing, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus) and proven experience of 3 +years in a sustainability or accounting/auditing -focused role, preferably within the tech industry.

Most importantly, we are looking for a candidate with great attention to detail and one who thrives within a position where sustainability compliance is the focus area.

We expect you to be responsible with a natural authority and impact as well as a particularly high level of personal integrity. You must be used to working at all levels of an organization and communicate accurately. In addition, you show independent initiative, commitment and decisiveness and have a good overview of the process.
