In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that supports clients across the full deal lifecycle: from M&A strategy to execution. You will work closely with clients on complex, high-impact engagements, where your insights and capabilities will drive real results. Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engagement Manager to join our Strategy and Execution team. The ideal candidate has 7-8+ years of experience in M&A strategy and execution across both pre- and post-deal engagements. You bring experience from client-facing or in-house roles across the M&A cycle and operational delivery, covering:

• Carve-out and operational due diligence
  
  
  
  • Assessing standalone viability, cost structures and operational risks to inform deal decisions and separation planning
  
  
  
  


• Value creation and synergy assessment
  
  
  
  • Identifying, quantifying and tracking revenue and cost synergies, and embedding them into value creation plans and integration and execution activities
  
  
  
  


• Deal strategy and deal management
  
  
  
  • Leading deal strategy and execution by being the key contact for client stakeholders and driving governance, planning and milestone tracking across the transaction lifecycle
  
  
  
  

As an Engagement Manager in the team, you will lead complex M&A engagements, as well as developing our team, so that they can realize their potential. 

Your main responsibilities: 

• Lead and contribute to a variety of pre- and post-deal engagements, including due diligence, deal strategy, synergies and operational value creation and managing workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs 

• Assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and working in project teams comprising other colleagues 

• Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work 

• Act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities
