Job Description - Facility Engineer

In our line of work, life isn’t a given - it’s the ultimate goal. When life takes an unexpected turn, our technology and solutions enable caregivers to make informed diagnostic decisions to improve patient care. This is our shared purpose at Radiometer and what unites all +4000 of us - no matter our roles or where in the world we’re located. Creating impactful innovations like ours, doesn’t happen overnight - it requires uncompromising persistency, passion, and a desire to make a difference. Here, you can learn, grow, and chart an uncommonly diverse career

Radiometer is proud to work alongside a community of six fellow Diagnostics Companies at Danaher. Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.

At Radiometer, the demands on our facilities are increasing. We are experiencing a growing portfolio of projects, rising requirements for documentation and compliance, and an increasing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. To support this development and ensure robust, compliant, and future-proof facility operations, we are strengthening our Facility organization with a new role as Facility Engineer.

Radiometer’s vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. Our facilities play a critical role in enabling production, laboratories, and offices to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the role

The Facility Engineer plays a key role in bridging daily facility operations with development, projects, and continuous improvements. You will be part of the Facility team located in Brønshøj and primarily work on site, with flexibility to adapt working hours to your situation.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Facility, who is responsible for all facility operations on site.

This is a role for a technically strong and structured profile who enjoys combining hands-on facility work with a broader system and project perspective.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and continuously develop our maintenance and operation setup, ensuring stable and reliable facilities that support production, laboratories, and offices at all times.

  • Work closely with facility technicians, translating operational experience and needs into structured improvements, projects, and system solutions.

  • Play a key role in ensuring compliance and audit readiness in a regulated environment, including documentation and follow-up.

  • Manage a portfolio of facility projects and take ownership of all phases, from idea and scoping to execution and handover.

  • Act as a key technical counterpart to suppliers and internal stakeholders, setting requirements, following up on performance, and challenging solutions when needed.

  • Drive energy management initiatives and contribute actively to reducing energy consumption and supporting Radiometer’s sustainability agenda.

  • Taking part in a rotating 24/7 on-call duty together with the technical team

Required qualifications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in technology management and marine engineering or an equivalent technical education.

  • Hands-on experience within technical facility management.

  • Strong understanding of IT systems and the ability to work with data, documentation, and digital tools.

  • Ability to work both hands-on and at a system and portfolio level.

  • A structured and proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership in a complex environment.

  • Fluency in Danish and English

It would be an advantage if you also have experience with:

  • Working in a GMP or otherwise regulated industry.

  • Project management.

  • Energy management and energy reduction initiatives.

What we offer
You will join a professional and collaborative Facility organization where trust and continuous improvement are central. The role offers a high degree of responsibility and influence, with strong opportunities to shape the position, take on new projects, and expand your areas of responsibility over time.
