Field Service Engineer -- Fish

At JBT Marel, we're currently looking for an enthusiastic service engineer to join our service team in Støvring, focused on installing and servicing equipment for salmon processing.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of JBT Marel for our customers across the globe – you’ll travel worldwide but mainly in Europe. You'll ensure troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, training and overall support for our equipment at customer sites, helping to exceed our customers' expectations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and execute installation-jobs.

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance.

• Train customers on-site and share insights with internal teams.

• Prepare your next project(s) and reporting on completed work.

• Attend personal and technical training sessions.

What to expect in this role:

• You’ll be traveling up to 150 days per year, with a maximum of 14 consecutive days away from home.

• When not traveling, you’ll spend approximately one week per month at our office in Støvring, collaborating with your colleagues and preparing for upcoming assignments.

• The rest of your time is self-managed – you work independently in the field and are trusted to make decisions on the spot.

We're seeking individuals with diverse backgrounds who thrive in a customer-facing role and enjoy working across borders, someone who has:

• Technical expertise: professional or vocational background in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, or a related field.

• Problem-Solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Customer focus: strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• Flexibility and independence: willingness to travel and adapt to varying work environments.

• Hands-on experience in a similar service or technical support role.

• A valid driving license.
