The opportunity
At Candeno, we seek a thorough and solution-oriented part-time Finance Specialist to strengthen our Finance department. The focus will be supporting our Finance Manager with daily financial operations, including economic analyses, financial reporting, and various controlling tasks.




You will✅
As a Finance Specialist, you will use your analytical nature to assist in optimising processes and internal controls, implement stronger financial controlling measures, and ensure quality financial data. You will report to our Finance & BI Manager and work closely with the Finance team and other departments. You will also:

• Optimise processes and internal controls.
• Implement and enhance financial controlling measures in collaboration with colleagues.
• Review balance reconciliations, continually improving and implementing new reconciliations.
• Provide backup for more complex accounting areas within the department.
• Handle customer invoicing and supplier invoices in Corpay One and Pleo.
• Assist in preparing reports for the board and management.
• Ensure the quality of accounting data in e-conomic and Fenerum.
• Act as the primary contact for the external bookkeeper.

You are
We seek a candidate with an engaged and structured approach capable of thoroughly processing and conveying financial data convincingly. We envision you pursuing a cand.merc.aud or something similar with relevant experience. We are also looking for a candidate with:

• Strong analytical skills
• Diligent and precise in your approach to task-solving.
• Able to view issues from a broader perspective.
• Responsible and able to see tasks through to completion.
• Initiative-driven and solution-oriented – independently exploring improvement opportunities across areas of responsibility.
• Interested in driving projects within the finance field and identifying optimisation opportunities in processes.
• Proficient in using Excel as an analytical tool.
• Thrives in a role with many simultaneous tasks.
• A good understanding of accounting techniques
