How you will make an impact

As Fleet Manager Outbound in Denmark, you will own the strategic, tactical and operational leadership of our fleet. You will optimise fleet composition, secure robust investment plans (CAPEX), drive digitalisation and support new delivery models - with “Safety First” and a Zero Accident culture as guiding principles.

The role sits in Logistics/Transportation DK and partners closely with Strategic Procurement, operations, sites and external partners.

Your key responsibilities:

• Optimise fleet composition and investment policy with focus on efficiency, cost and decarbonisation.


• Own CAPEX planning and investments in vehicles, equipment and technology—prioritise, follow up and report.


• Ensure preventive maintenance, repairs and compliance—plus systematic incident management.


• Lead and engage a cross-site technical group, actively involving drivers in equipment selection and improvements.


• Drive digital fleet management (e.g., SAP, telematics, IoT) for performance, documentation and decision support.’

Additionally:

• Act as a strong partner to Strategic Procurement on contracts with service partners, leasing firms and suppliers.


• Ensure the fleet supports business development and new delivery models.


• Implement and continuously improve digital processes for maintenance, performance and compliance.


• Maintain documentation and secure regulatory compliance.


• Promote a Zero Accident culture through training, best practice and proactive risk management.

What will make you successful

You combine strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels - setting the direction for the fleet while staying close to execution. You are structured, proactive and solution-oriented, and you excel at turning data and insights into clear priorities and tangible outcomes. You speak and write Danish and English. An exceptional communicator, you build trust and alignment across drivers, technicians, management and external partners, translating strategy into actions that teams can rally behind.

You have:

• Experience in fleet management, transport and logistics—ideally with large and mixed fleets.


• Solid experience in CAPEX planning, contract management and supplier partnerships.


• Proficiency with digital fleet solutions (e.g., SAP, telematics, IoT) and data-driven decision-making.


• Relevant education (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Transport & Logistics academy degree, engineering/marine engineer) is a plus; strong practical experience is highly valued.

• Safety and improvement mindset—driving a Zero Accident culture and continuous improvements.
