Podimo is one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a Freelance Audience Development Manager to join our team in Madrid.

The project involves working alongside our Spanish content team and reporting to our Global content team, focusing on the launch and promotion of new podcast series. The project is estimated to last between 10 and 30 days in the period July until September/October.

This is the role
We are looking for a Freelance Audience Development Manager with a strong background in marketing and audience development within the audio or entertainment industry.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to increase audience engagement and growth through organic and social media channels, specifically for our new podcast formats.

Here’s some of the fun things you will be doing in this role:

• Develop and execute audience development strategies that align with our content goals, focusing on organic growth and social media engagement.
• Collaborate with the Spanish content team in Madrid to understand specific market needs and tailor campaigns accordingly.
• Report to the Global content team, providing insights and progress reports on audience growth and engagement metrics.
• Support the launch of new podcast series by coordinating with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure cohesive and effective promotional efforts.
• Analyse performance data to continuously refine and optimise audience development strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in podcast marketing and audience engagement to implement innovative approaches.

This is you

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or audience development, with a strong preference for experience in the audio entertainment industry.
• Proven track record of successfully growing and engaging audiences, particularly through organic and social media channels.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to inform strategies and decisions.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
