We seek a creative and versatile Freelance Japanese-speaking Copywriter to join our marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to work from our Copenhagen office 1-2 days a week, contributing to developing engaging and culturally relevant content for the Japanese market. You will play a critical role in shaping Veo’s voice in Japan, creating compelling copy that resonates with our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine marketing texts for various platforms, ensuring cultural relevance for the Japanese market.
• Create compelling copy for emails, landing pages, paid ads, social media, and other marketing materials.
• Provide creative input for video scripts and stories.
• Conduct and write up interviews for video content.
• Engage in thorough proofreading to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications:

• Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Japanese.
• Strong understanding of Japanese culture and market trends.
• Proven experience in copywriting, ideally within the marketing or tech industries.
• Ability to work from our Copenhagen office 1-2 days per week.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Adequate proficiency in the English language.
• Experience in creating content for various digital media platforms.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
