Job Description

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in our organization, developing and maintaining our custom-built CMS and our single-page application DAM system.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for our two web applications, to define, design, and ship new features and updates.
• Develop and maintain complex front-end projects, using your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and associated tools.
• Design software architecture and algorithms that ensure applications are scalable at high performance.
• Stay up to date with the best practices for modern web APIs, and apply them to continually optimize the user experience and our applications’ performance.
• As a contributor to the team, select and integrate open-source React projects, such as MUI, to enhance our applications’ functionality and aesthetics.
• Develop and then maintain Express.js middleware and TypeScript lambdas on AWS, to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• In collaboration with back-end developers, ensure smooth data flow and API integrations for both web applications.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to fellow developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues to uphold the stability and reliability of both applications.
• Stay aware of emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, so that you can recommend and implement practical improvements as necessary.

Your qualifications

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and algorithms.
• In-depth knowledge of modern web APIs and best practices.
• Experience with React open-source projects, such as MUI, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Express.js middleware and TypeScript lambdas is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS services and deployment is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A genuine interest in the value we want to create for our customers.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality code.
