Pharmacosmos is looking for a Global BI Specialist to further strengthen the Business Intelligence team within Finance & IT â Strategic Projects and Systems. This role will play a key part in ensuring high\-quality data and insights support decision\-making across the organization during a period of continued growth and digital transformation.
The position offers an end\-to\-end BI role with exposure to both technical data platforms and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business.
As a Global BI Specialist, you will work across the BI and data stack, from data pipelines to reports and dashboards. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Pharmacosmosâ BI and data platform, turning complex data into clear and actionable insights.
The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization as well as external BI consultants, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable and value\-adding BI solutions.
You will join Strategic Projects and Systems, a small, highly skilled team within Finance & IT. The team consists of the Director, a Project Manager, and two Global BI Specialists, and is responsible for managing the companyâs BI and data platform.
The team culture is professional, collaborative, and informal, with a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, mutual support, and flexibility, including the possibility to work from home when needed.
Develop, maintain, and optimize BI and data platform solutions
Manage and troubleshoot data pipelines in Azure Data Factory
Write SQL scripts and build data models for reporting and analytics
Design and deliver reports and dashboards in Power BI and Excel
Ensure correct use of master data and Row\-Level Security
Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions
Support integration between Dynamics 365 F&O and BI solutions
Contribute to strategic BI initiatives and architectural improvements
Pharmacosmos is looking for a proactive and analytical BI specialist with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset.
It is expected that you have:
A relevant higher education within IT, data, engineering, or similar
Strong proficiency in SQL
Solid experience with Power BI or motivation to further develop this expertise
Experience with ETL and integration tools such as Azure Data Factory
An analytical approach and ability to understand new data domains
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel skills are considered an advantage.
