Global Business Owner, Global Procurement 

Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Global Business Owner, Global Procurement to be based in Ballerup, Denmark 

 In this role, you will lead Global Procurement through our global ERP, QMS and PLM transformation, turning functional strategy into harmonized processes, clear decisions and measurable value. You will report to the Global Operations Program Director, with functional anchoring to the VP Global Procurement, and work closely with Global Process Owners, site leadership, IT, Finance, Quality and implementation partners. 

 This is a unique opportunity to shape a major global transformation and challenge established ways of working. It will suit an experienced procurement leader who enjoys bridging business and technology and driving change at scale. 

 Key responsibilities 

 Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Developing the transformation roadmap, target operating model and benefit case for Global Procurement 

• Representing Global Procurement in program governance and making timely decisions 

• Driving simplification, harmonization and adoption across sites 

• Ensuring processes, data and systems meet quality and regulatory requirements 

Suggested candidate profile  

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you: 

• Have leadership experience within Global Procurement 

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience 

• Have strong knowledge of global operations and end-to-end processes 

• Come from medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry 

• Have delivered major business transformation or enterprise system implementations 

• Have strong executive presence and can influence across functions and sites 

• Have ERP, QMS or PLM experience (ideally Infor M3 or Dassault Systèmes) and are flexible to travel internationally
