Job Description - Global Lead, Digital Campaigns & Content

This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a blend of big-picture thinking and direct involvement in our projects. This role is designed for someone who is highly strategic and experienced but is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive deep into the work.

The new Global Lead Digital Campaigns & Content is preferably based in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, or the UK. This is a remote position, referring to the Global Digital Head, in the Global Digital Marketing Team located in Switzerland. Travel required 10 – 20 %.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Omnichannel Campaign Strategy:
    Lead the creation, planning, and execution of global digital omnichannel campaigns aligned with brand and regional objectives (incl. goals, target audience, and messaging)
  • Content Strategy:
    Lead the ideation, creation, and curation of engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement across various digital platforms (web, social, digital ads, email, webinar, etc.)
  • SEO-Driven Content Creation
    : Develop and implement on-page SEO and keyword strategies to improve our visibility on search engines
  • Content Distribution:
    Define and set up digital journeys using marketing automation platforms to maximize reach and engagement
  • Audience Engagement:
    In partnership with the Social Media Lead, develop & execute engagement tactics that foster meaningful interactions with our audiences
  • Search Engine Marketing:
    (Co)create & execute paid search strategies as part of digital omnichannel campaigns
  • Performance Measurement
    : Monitor and analyze metrics to provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization
  • Coordination
    : Work closely with design, copywriting, and global & local marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of campaign assets
  • Training
    : Train commercial partners on new digital content trends and best practices, ensuring they are equipped to effectively represent our brand in the digital space
  • Governance
    : Establish and enforce governance related to content production, including the development of guidelines, processes, and tools to maintain high-quality content standards

Qualifications

  • Degree in digital marketing communications, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing communications, with a proven track record of successful digital omnichannel campaigns and content management
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a must
  • Strong cross-functional, lateral leadership skills and ability to work independently
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude
  • Customer-centric, conversion-driven
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and analytics
  • Creative & out-of-the-box thinker
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO principles and experience with keyword research and tools (SEMRush, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Veeva) as well as marketing automation platforms (Sales Force Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience with designing journey-based omnichannel campaigns
  • Experience with AI tools for content ideation, creation, and optimization
  • Outstanding project management skills
