Head of Accessories and Shoes

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Accessories and Shoes to lead our accessories and footwear team and further develop this category. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the bags, accessories, and footwear market as well as a deep passion for fashion and trends. As the Head of Accessories and Shoes, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our accessories and footwear offers and implementing design and development strategies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full product range and develop it in line with our overall brand direction. You will also work very closely with the rest of our design teams to ensure a coherent direction and will be in weekly contact with our retail and sales team to understand markets and needs.

In this position, you will

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the accessories and shoes category, including product assortment, pricing, and design.
• Lead the product development process, from concept ideation to sourcing, while also ensuring alignment with our brand identity and quality standards.
• Collaborate across departments, including retail, marketing, and sales, to drive cohesive and integrated strategies for product launches and promotions.
• Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation as well as develop strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and timely delivery of products.

For this position, we are looking for someone with

• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the fashion industry, with a focus on accessories and/or footwear.
• Preferably a strong background in developing leather products.
• A strong understanding of design direction and product development.
• A strong awareness and knowledge of current and future trends.
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and initiatives.
• A proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and guide stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent skills within applications such as Adobe Illustrator, PLM(Kubix) and 3D(Clo).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
