The role

The Head of Display is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of the company's display marketing vertical. This role owns the performance roadmap for all programmatic and display initiatives, driving user acquisition and revenue growth through sophisticated media buying and data-driven decision-making.

What you'll be doing

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Define the Display Marketing strategy, identifying new platforms and traffic sources to drive user acquisition.

• Own the display marketing budget and set departmental KPIs, ensuring efficient allocation to maximize ROI.

Campaign Execution & Performance Management

• Lead daily programmatic campaign operations, driving optimization through advanced bidding, audience targeting, and A/B testing.

• Partner with the BI department to analyze user funnels and utilize performance dashboards for real-time decision-making.

Operational Excellence & Technical Infrastructure

• Oversee the technical tracking (e.g., Voluum), attribution modeling, and integration of third-party advertising tools.

• Establish scalable processes and governance frameworks for campaign QA, creative testing, and operational consistency.

People Leadership & Development

• Manage the full talent lifecycle for the Display Marketing team, handling recruiting, performance reviews, and career development.

• Foster a high-performance culture by identifying training needs and providing continuous coaching.

Partnership & Stakeholder Management

• Negotiate with third-party vendors and collaborate with internal teams (Design, IT, Product) to align marketing initiatives.

• Ensure campaign compliance with international gambling regulations and provide clear performance reporting to senior leadership.

Who we're looking for

Experience

• 5+ years in Performance Marketing/Media Buying, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports, stakeholder relationships, and large-scale budgets.

• Extensive background in iGaming or highly regulated verticals (FinTech, Casino, etc.), managing annual budgets of $10M+ to deliver measurable ROI.

• Proven success scaling campaigns on programmatic platforms and DSPs (e.g., Taboola, DV360, The Trade Desk) alongside large-scale creative testing.

• Solid experience navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring advertising compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges), bid management, and auction-based buying.

• Expert knowledge of tracking platforms (e.g., Voluum), attribution models, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau), with a strong proficiency in data analysis (SQL preferred).

• Advanced ability to analyze user funnels, map customer journeys, and apply landing page and creative optimization principles.

• Familiarity with ad fraud detection, brand safety tools, and conducting competitor and traffic source research.

Soft Skills

• Strategic thinker who can connect daily operations to big-picture growth goals while effectively mentoring and developing a team.

• Excellent communicator capable of translating complex programmatic data into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Strong negotiator who can build lasting vendor relationships and secure favorable terms with platform partners.

• Highly organized and adaptable, able to make informed decisions amidst market shifts, regulatory updates, or incomplete data.
